RE: Prime Minister’s announcement 8pm 4th January 2021

Dear Parents/Carers

RE: Prime Minister’s announcement 8pm 4th January 2021

Following the announcement from the Prime Minister this evening, please find the academy’s arrangements from tomorrow (5th January 2021):

  • Tuesday 5th January – this will be a full school closure to all pupils with the following exception: critical worker children.
  • Wednesday 6th January  – the academy will be open to pupils who qualify as a vulnerable group or cared for by a critical worker.

If you believe you qualify as a critical worker and need a place tomorrow for your child, please contact the school in the morning, and we will organise a place. Given the late national notice, we will not be open to any other pupil group until Wednesday 6th January. From this point, the academy will be open to children who qualify as vulnerable or lives with a parent or carer who qualify as a critical worker.

We will be in further communication with parent/carers tomorrow to ensure pupils have access to appropriate remote learning, or to make appropriate arrangements for children who qualify as one of the exceptions (vulnerable group or cared for by a critical worker).

Thank you once again for all your support during these very challenging times.

Kind regards

Marcus Wells (Principal) and Lee Morgan (Head of School)
