Reflections Of The Week 01-04-2021

The end of term rewards assemblies were fantastic-great to see pupils smiling and applauding others as they received their attendance certificates for 100% attendance since 8th March and their ePraise rewards for their curriculum efforts. Thanks very much for the preparation that went into them.

Key Stage 3 had successful EHCP Annual Reviews and reported that parents/carers have been very supportive of the Academy’s provision and the progress and enjoyment pupils are getting from school.

The new library has been up and running since 8th March-pupils and staff are enjoying the facility.

As COVID restrictions are gradually lifted, we are able to go off-site and KS2 have started ‘Woodland Wednesdays’. Each Wednesday they have taken the children to the woods in Strelley village. Here the children have learnt survival skills, orienteering, how to build shelters and bow and arrows as well as going on lengthy walks around the local area.
