Can I on behalf of all the Staff at Westbury School wish all of our pupils their families and carers a very happy new year.
I hope that all of our pupils enjoyed the Christmas break and appreciated the gifts that they received.
The school received its own surprise over the holiday period when we were informed that £4.75 million pounds of building work has been approved to create new buildings and expand provision on the school site.
There has been a huge amount of work that has been carried out by senior staff in partnership with local authority officers over the last two years which has brought about this very welcome decision.
The improvements to the site will be beneficial to all our pupils and will be a further factor in promoting their academic success and their personal development. I look forward to keeping you informed as the plans for the delivery of the buildings are announced.
Best wishes for 2016
